Call for Panels

ER 2026 will include panels that focus on presenting future or ongoing open and attractive problems related to the field of conceptual modeling. A panel offers an opportunity for participants to discuss relevant problems and propose possible solutions. We are especially interested in proposals related to the theme of the conference, "Conceptual Modeling and Sustainability", although submissions need not be strictly limited to the theme.

Important Dates

All deadlines are 23:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE).

• Panel proposal submissions: July 28, 2026
• Panel proposal notification: August 11, 2026
• Camera-ready panel descriptions: August 22, 2026
• Panels: To be included in the Conference Program October 5-8, 2026

Panel Proposals

The panel proposal should include the following elements:

• Title and brief description of the panel and its rationale or motivation.
• Issues or topics that will be presented and discussed.
• Names of the panelist who will participate.
• Format of the panel including intended interaction among the panelist and with the audience.
• Description of each participant's background, including, as appropriate expertise related to the topic.
• References, as needed.

Submissions should be directed to both panel co-chairs by email.
